Lakhinpur Shiva Temple Assam
Recently (1984) constructed Shiva Mandir by a North Indian businessman on the NH52 before entering the Lakhinpur town is a modern architecture marvel. Linga shaped temple, facing east. Nandi is sitting on a stone stage overlooking the temple. Beautiful garden maintained by the temple authority on the east side of the temple well protected and nominal fees to enter inside.
