There is an old Shiva temple constructed in 1565 (Archaeological survey), on the right side before entering the main stare to Kamakhya temple on the Nilanchal Hill of Guwahati Assam. There are two temples right side is Chinnamastika and left is Kameswar devalaya. It has a deep Garbh Grah. There is a natural flat ling inside and steam of water flowing over it. Temple is directed east, it has a square plan. Outside temple structure is new. Very few people know or visit this sacred old temple.
